This scarf has a dark charcoal background but bright and bold stripes of pink, turquoise, royal blue, lilac, red and grey. When you write them all out it sounds like a disaster in a pencil case, but the fading from one colour to the next makes it work. There are three multicoloured stripes running the length of the scarf and then the weft (widthwise) stripes work slowly through the shades.
Mainly British spun pure corriedale wool (the charcoal) with all the colour and texture coming from the 45% silk, 45% mohair and 10% lambswool contrast yarn
The scarf is 23cm wide and 208cm long, including a 9cm fringe at either end
With all natural fibres and a high proportion of wool, I suggest handwashing your scarf should it get grubby.
Each of one of my handwoven scarves is finished with a sustainable cork tag and comes in a cotton drawstring bag to keep it safe
