Coaster featuring handwoven fabric and cork backing - Diagonal Tweed

You might be forgiven for thinking that handwoven fabric is just for scarves but it is cloth and, just like any other cloth, it can be made into many things. Here I've used my handwoven fabric to create cork backed coasters. Each one features a unique piece of fabric but I've grouped them together in 'families' if you're looking for sets. This family all have the same zig zag design but were woven with many different colours of tweed weft. If you love the cloth you might like to know that I used it to make some mirrors and brooches too

These handmade coasters measure 10x10cm and are treated with 3M Scotchguard Water Shield to repel any spills. You can see in the video how effective this is, just dab off any spills that do happen as soon as you can. To keep your coaster in tip top condition you may wish to re-treat it every year or so.

I will package your coasters in boxes ready for gifting. Each box can hold one or two coasters so, if you're purchasing more than one, please let me know in the notes at checkout if you'd like them packaged together or individually.
