Handwoven Rainbow Double Weave Woollen Scarf - Merino and BFL
Handwoven Rainbow Double Weave Woollen Scarf - Merino and BFL
Wrap yourself in a rainbow with my Handwoven Rainbow Double Weave Woollen Scarf. Woven on my rigid heddle loom using pure merino and merino/BFL mix yarn, this soft and cosy scarf features a multicoloured double weave design that is sure to brighten up any outfit. The double weave construction means not only two layers of fabric to keep you warm but also a different colour pattern on each side (that's the same scarf in the first two images, just flipped over)
The scarf is 18cm wide and 175cm long, including a 5 cm fringe at either end.
Woven using UK spun yarn in a combination of pure merino from the Falklands and a 50/50 mix of the same merino blended with British Bluefaced Leicester wool. Both are luxuriously soft and I suggest handwashing your scarf should it get grubby.
85% Merino wool 16% Bluefaced Leicester wool, all from non-mulesed flocks
