Woven by hand, using entirely handspun merino and silk yarn, this is a luxurious scarf to add a rainbow riot of colour to any outfit
I've been wanting to weave something using all 7 colours of my Downend Merino and Silk blend and this Rainbow Gamp shows them off beautifully. A 'gamp' is the term for a woven cloth which samples all the possible colour combinations by putting them all in the warp (up and down) and the weft (left to right). This means you see each colour woven with all the others and the result a rainbow.
The scarf is 26cm wide and 223cm long, including a 10cm fringe at either end - large enough to wrap around your shoulders
Luxuriously soft and deeply coloured, I suggest handwashing your scarf should it get grubby.
Each of one of my handwoven scarves is finished with a sustainable cork tag.
