I make a selection of rolags which are available throughout the year but I also make something special each month. I only blend that edition during the month of issue so, once it's gone, it's gone. This is your opportunity to reserve a pack for next month or subscribe for a regular delivery - either way you won't miss out. If you're still subscribed after 12 months you'll receive a 10% discount on subsequent subscription orders.

You'll receive your rolags before they go online for general sale and if you'd like more of a special edition you can use the code 'MOREPLS' for a 15% discount.

The special editions are likely to be wool based but may include different breeds, silk, bamboo, cashmere, flax, ramie, rose fibre and anything else I fancy that month! I do generally stick to natural fibres and probably won't be using anything sparkly

Generally each rolag is approximately 21cm (9") and weighs around 5g, that might with the fibre content each month so consider it a minimum weight - You'll always get the correct number of rolags, they just might weigh a little more sometimes.

I would suggest handspun yarn is washed after spinning, this sets the twist and helps eliminate any loose dye. It's always a good idea to wash dark colours separately, just in case!

The wool is dyed and processed in the UK before being blended, by me, in Hampshire. All merino is sourced from non-mulesed flocks and fibres are dyed to Okeo-Tex 100 standards. I make every effort to show you colours accurately however, there may be some variation in display on different monitors etc

When will my subscription order arrive?

I send out subscription parcels during the first week of each month. Your first parcel will arrive in the month following your initial order date

For example - place an order on the 31st March and the first delivery will be with you early April but place your order on 3rd April and it'll arrive during May

How much postage will I pay?

The postage on each subscription parcel will be £4, that's how much it costs me to send the parcel. You can add as much as you like to that parcel, just use the code 'ADDTOSUB' when you check out throughout the month any orders

You can also have as many subscriptions as you like in that parcel - 2 balls every 2 months will be less postage than 1 ball each month!

Can I add other orders to my parcel each month?

Of course! I'm happy to combine any orders you place during the preceding month to the parcel so you save on postage. Just use the code 'ADDTOMYSUB' when you check out

For example - any orders you place during March (and use the discount code) will be combined with your April delivery

Can I order other items with my first subscription order?

Yes - I'll send those straight away and your subscription will arrive early next month

Unless...

...you'd like to wait until the subscription is ready. If you'd like to do that, use the code 'HAPPYTOWAIT' on your first order. I'll know to pack the order all together and the website will take off one of the shipping charges for you

Can I return a subscription item if I don't like it?

If, once your parcel has arrived, you don't like the item I've picked for you you are welcome to return it, just let me know and I'll send you a postage label (you will be responsible for the cost of return postage unless the yarn is damaged or faulty).

Lucky Dip Sock Yarn

If you're an avid sock knitter you can subscribe and receive 100g of surprise sock yarn each month or every 2 months for 15% less than ordering individually. There will be the same free sock pattern and tips in your first delivery but after that I'll include a different pattern each month - it might not always be for socks but it will always use sock yarn. There will also be some little surprises included in your 3rd, 6th and 9th boxes. If you're still knitting away after 12 months then the discount goes up to 20% Of course, you can stop your subscription any time you like.

Just add the subscription to your basket and checkout as normal - the recurring payment will be set up automatically and you'll receive your first parcel early next month.

 Cancellation Policy
Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

Pre-orders
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.
You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
Try before you buy
When you purchase a try before you buy item, we authorize your payment method before fulfilling the order. You will have a certain amount of time to decide if you want to keep the item. Once the time period has passed, if you have not returned the item, we will charge your payment method for the full amount.
